Resources and Current Information

If you notice a Crx indication next to some of the drugs on the lists, it is an indication that the drug is a control drug (schedules 3,4,5). Control drugs require a unique prescription signed by the doctor and faxed or called from the doctor to the pharmacist. They must be specific to a specific owner and animal.

Controlled drug prescriptions may be refilled up to six (6) times (total of a month’s supply) in six (6) months. Using refills will speed up the process that gets the drugs to the clinic since any of the clinic staff can request a prescription refill when they place an order.
